Today another kind of print with much less process (Won't take no; monoprint, 12 x 17 cm 2006) but quite suited to the spontaneity of the subject - a hungry moment of lovemaking. In fact the drawing which is a sudden swift outpouring of the imagination - is on the back. For those who don't know, monoprints are made by "floating" paper on a piece of glass thinly coated with oil paint and drawing with pencil or the tip of a brush. The work in reverse image is on the underside. My friend Jane loved this one so I gave it to her and thought to blog it since it has gone out into the world. A moment of pleasure, produced in a moment of pleasure.
